Wow! What a buy start to the school year we have had in Bay class!
Bay class has had lots of hands on maths this term in class! Here we are estimating and measuring capacity outside the classroom.
We’ve been busy practising our talk for writing too, to prepare for writing out voyage and return Tudor stories.
A fantastic effort was made by all of Bay class as well as the school for book week, with all the children coming to school as there favourite book character, and the teaching staff coming in as Burglar Bill or Burglar Betty!
We also enjoyed some theatre in the hall during book week, watching both Pinocchio and Olive and the Dream train.
After half term, we were very lucky to have a visit from Jason Singh, one of the best beat-boxers in the UK. He showed us some of his beat-boxing skills and taught us some too!
For Children in Need, we all went for a walk around Ogwell, spotting all the Pudsey bears. We saw a beautiful rainbow too!
With Christmas just around the corner, we have been busy preparing for the Christmas play. Here we are preparing props and practising hard in the hall!
