Canonteign Falls Trip
On Thursday 26th September, 9 coaches drove 335 children and almost 80 adults toCanonteignFalls for the day and what a wonderful time we all had!
All the KS2 children walked to the top and enjoyed the wonderful view. Our youngest children walked to the lower falls and enjoyed playing games, listening to stories and singing songs within the stunning grounds.
Our Year 5/6 classes; Rowan, Ash and Larch enjoyed a fabulous but, at times, scary time atCanonteignFalls! They followed their mythical maps through the woods, over bridges and passed caves and imagined what mystical creatures may have been lurking in their path. Back at school, they added these ideas to their maps to create a new world that they could base their myth writing on.
Everyone enjoyed some time on the assault course and finished the day with a delicious ice cream!
Bonding as a class.
