Residentials and Adventure days 2022-23

Adventure days a huge success in Summer 2021!

In the 2020-21 academic year we intend to rebuild our long standing residential programme. We were really pleased with the Adventure Days we put on for our Year 6 at the end of last term and felt that these meant that all pupils could attend and be fully involved in adventurous activities. It also signposted many children to local resources where they could return and continue their new found sports. We will therefore add this to our programme of activities for Year 5s in future years.

We are also pleased to say that Heatree House are back up and running and because of our long standing relationship with the centre, we have been given a full week slot in June for our Year 4s.

Our programme for this year:

Year 4 Heatree Residential - Mon 26th June - Friday 30th June 2023

This will be a mix of adventurous activities, and curriculum studies in History, Geography, Science and RE

Year 5 Adventure Days - dates to be confirmed

These will build on the success of last years adventure days for Year 5. We will  run two days in the summer term at Seasports in Teignmouth and the River Dart Country Park.

Year 6 Skern Lodge Weekend Residential - 30th June - 3rd July 2023

To keep costs down, our staff take the children on a 4 day weekend trip to Skern, with surfing as the highlight of this adventurous weekend.
